Pedestrian gender count
Quote from Anders Swanson on August 16, 2018, 03:07Winnipeg Trails association has been doing these on paper at the same time as a regular count with good results. Would be helpful. Same thing as bike version, but for pedestrians only.

This is a simple gender split count of people walking into Portage & Main’s underground compared people walking on Main itself a block and a half south.
On Main St. itself women outnumber men 60% to 40%. Entering the concourse, it was the opposite - 83% to 17%. @erinriediger pic.twitter.com/C1HYH4LzuY

One thing I know is that the database names for bicycle gender are generic names such as, gender_m, gender_f, gender_o. When doing this I think we should explicitly name the pedestrian gender column with a prefix of walk_*. i.e walk_gender_m, walk_gender_f, walk_gender_o
